It’s no secret: golf is dying. Television ratings have fallen, fewer people are interested in playing the sport, and the golf market is in the rough, as shown by Nike Golf’s recent departure from the equipment industry and Golfsmith’s file for bankruptcy.

After losing just one senior last year, the girls basketball team is ready to pick up where it left off. The girls’ scrimmages on Thursday, November 17, kicked off the Vikings’ season with enough players for dedicated varsity and JV teams.

The boys wrestling team got rolling last week with seniors Jeremiah Mills and Anthony Sugar voted as its team captains. Sugar is out presently, due to an injury, so the boys will have to step up if they wish to repeat last season’s success.
