The boys wrestling team got rolling last week with seniors Jeremiah Mills and Anthony Sugar voted as its team captains. Sugar is out presently, due to an injury, so the boys will have to step up if they wish to repeat last season’s success.

Last year, junior Josh Pearson proved to be a valuable addition by making it to States. Because of this year’s fresh talent, Pearson says, “This season will be good because we have a lot of new guys. It just matters that they are out there.”

The boys have their first scrimmage on Saturday, November 26, at 8:00 pm at New Albany High School.
