On Tuesday, November 16, 2016, Columbus Academy hosted the Fall Band Concert, which included both the Middle and Upper School Bands.

The night began with Mrs. Sneeringer introducing the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands, who each played three songs.

As the Eighth Grade Band came to a close, 60 high schoolers took to the stage. Because everyone is used to the upbeat numbers from the pep band, Sneeringer chose to do songs more graceful in nature.

The first song was “Shenandoah,” followed by “I Am, ” written by Andrew Boysen and dedicated in memory to Lynn Jones, a baritone saxophone player that was killed in a car accident. The night ended with “Gadget.”

Sneeringer thanked the audience for giving its time to come to the Band Concert.
