Girls Swim Team Heads to States

On Friday, February 20, the girls placed second overall in Districts. The team heads to states  at the C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton this week. (Please see event schedules below.)

Girls Swimming: CSG and Dublin Coffman Defeat Vikes

On Friday, February 5, the Lady Aquavikes competed against Columbus School for Girls, Village Academy, and Madison Christian. Academy beat Village Academy and Madison Christian with 530 points, 350 ahead of the nearest competitor, but could not top CSG, who finished with 592 points. Girls Swimming Has Banner Week!

The Aquavikes had an outstanding week. On Tuesday, January 26, the team honored its seniors, Jessica Hile,  Sarah Campbell, Sydney Brault, and Gabbie Eismann as they competed against Village Academy and Madison Christian. The girls took the win with 133 points.

Varsity Swimming

On Friday, December 4th, the girls lost to Bishop Watterson 65-105. Seniors Sydney Brault and Sarah Campbell, Audrey Grammel’17, and Jane Li’18, led the team with strong swims. Brault won the 500 free, Campbell won the 100 back, and Brault, Campbell, Grammel, and Li placed first in the 400 relay.

London Defeats Academy in Its Final Game

On Friday, October 30, the football team faced London during its last game of the season. London quickly took the lead and was ahead 14-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Vikings put up their first touchdown during the second quarter when Herman Moultrie’18 had a 3-yard run into the end zone.

Football: Bexley Defeats Vikings

On Friday, October 23, the Vikings faced Bexley in a much-anticipated game. The game got off to a shaky start with Bexley ahead by 10-0 at the end of the first quarter. When the second quarter stared, the Vikings were ready to put points on the scoreboard. Herman Moultrie’18 ran 32 yards to the end

Football’s Last Home Game Goes Out with a Bang

On Friday, October 16, all players and, particularly, the seniors Jacob Jeffers, Jack Mills, Sam Tuckerman, Matt Watters and Liam Wainaina hoped to end with a win, and that’s exactly what they did.  Academy quickly took the lead over Berne Union, scoring a touchdown rushed 6 yards by Herman Moultrie’18.

Football Suffers Second Straight Loss

On Friday, October 2, the Vikings faced West Jefferson in the pouring rain and strong winds. The game got off to a rough start, with the Vikings down 21-0 in the first quarter and a rally with a rushing touchdown made by Roman Bellisari’17.
