On Saturday, December 5, the wrestling team participated in two different tournaments. Captain Calvin Wuorinen’16 and Anthony Sugar’17 wrestled at St. Francis DeSales, while the rest of the team wrestled at Groveport Madison.

On Friday, November 6, the CA field hockey team lost in a gut-wrenching defeat at the hands of Hudson High School. The Vikes were playing to advance to the state championship, but came up just short against the Explorers.

The boys soccer team played Bishop Rosecrans in the Regional semifinal at Newark High School, on Wednesday, November 4th. On Saturday, November 2, the boys and girls cross country teams wrapped up their season as they competed in the Division III State Cross Country Meet at National Trail Raceway.

On Wednesday, October 26, the Vikings battled the Granville Christian Academy Eagles at home in their District semifinal game. The Vikings entered the game blindly, having never faced the Eagles and earned an overwhelming 10-0 victory.

After defeating Lancaster, the Vikings took on Granville, who chose to play against our girls in the next round. Despite playing a more qualified opponent, the result was more of the same, with CA easily dispatching of the Blue Aces.

On Saturday, October 31, the boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Regional Championships at Pickerington North High School.

On Friday, October 30, the football team faced London during its last game of the season. London quickly took the lead and was ahead 14-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Vikings put up their first touchdown during the second quarter when Herman Moultrie’18 had a 3-yard run into the end zone.

The girls had their district semifinal match at Fairbanks on Tuesday, October 27. Fortunately, our Vikes put on a dominant performance. Controlling possession for most of the game, they took a total of 11 shots with five on target.
