Girls Swimming Heads to Districts

On Saturday, February 13, the Aquavikes won sectionals for the second year in a row. The girls had a stunning performance, with Sarah Campbell’16 placing first in the 100-back and Audrey Grammel’17 winning the 100-breast.

Vikes Play Their hearts Out at MSL Wrestling Tournament

The wrestling team’s  MSL tournament on Saturday, February 6, was one of the biggest of the season. Senior captain, Calvin Wuorinen’16, wrestled 4-1 and earned 2nd place in his weight division. Josh Pearson’18 earned 2nd place in his division, also wrestling 4-1.

Bowling Teams about to Wrap Up Season

Though bowling’s regular season has come to an end, there is still much activity going on with the teams. Senior night will be on Monday, February 8, during one of their practices, and they may even let you bowl with them as they head into post season.

Girls Swimming: CSG and Dublin Coffman Defeat Vikes

On Friday, February 5, the Lady Aquavikes competed against Columbus School for Girls, Village Academy, and Madison Christian. Academy beat Village Academy and Madison Christian with 530 points, 350 ahead of the nearest competitor, but could not top CSG, who finished with 592 points. Swimming: Boys’ Winning Streak Ends

The CA boys swim team faced tough competition this weekend, putting its winning streak on the line. Academy competed against Saint Charles Preparatory and Madison Christian on Friday, February 5, and then competed against Dublin Coffman on Saturday, February 6.

CA Boys Swim Team Wins MSL Title

The CA boys swim team celebrated its senior night to honor Jacob Jeffers’16 and Andrew Heermann’16 with a home meet against Village Academy and Madison Christian on Tuesday, January 26. The team finished first with 128 points, 104 points ahead of second place finisher, Madison Christian.
