CA Boys Swim Team Wins MSL Title

The CA boys swim team celebrated its senior night to honor Jacob Jeffers’16 and Andrew Heermann’16 with a home meet against Village Academy and Madison Christian on Tuesday, January 26. The team finished first with 128 points, 104 points ahead of second place finisher, Madison Christian.

Heermann won the 200-free with a time of 2:03.50. Jack Campbell’19 won the 100-yard freestyle and the 100-back with a time of 0:51.13 and 1:00.75 respectively. Jacob Eismann’19 won the 50-free with a time of 0:23.33 and the 100-breast with a time of 1:05.78.

This meet was just a warm up for the Saturday, January 30, MSL Championship, at which CA competed against Teays Valley, Bexley, Grandview Fairfield Union, Worthington Christian, Fisher Catholic, Liberty Union, and Bloom-Carroll.

Academy became the MSL Champions for the third-straight year and won almost every single event.

Max Dreisbach’18 won the 200-IM with a time of 2:04.48 and the 500-free with a time of 5:02.66. Tin Le’17 won the 50-free with a time of 0:23.56. Campbell won the 100-butterfly and 100-back with a time of 0:54.62 and 0:55.90, respectively. Eismann won the 100-free with a time of 0:51.23. Nate Goldfarb’17 won the 100-breast with a time of 1:02.76.
