After its undefeated regular season, the field hockey team entered the postseason ranked “first” in the tournament bracket. When the Vikes faced the 17th seed, Lancaster, on Wednesday, October 19, our girls proved that they deserved that number 1 spot.
On Friday, October 21, Academy hosted its arch rival, Bexley, who got the better of the 7-2 Vikings with a 28-14 loss in one of the biggest games in our school’s history.

The golf team suffered a defeat by Bexley at the district tournament on Wednesday, October 5. With a score of 312, the Vikings lost by thirteen strokes, bringing their 2016 season to an unfortunate end. The boys tried their hardest but did not play as well as they had hoped.
