The Academy football team traveled to Milan, Ohio, to play the Edison Chargers in the first round of the Division 5, Region 18 playoffs. Unfortunately, the Vikings fell to the Chargers in a hard fought 30-14 loss.
In an unfortunate end to their 2016 soccer season, the boys lost 1-0 to their to long-time rival Wellington in the district semifinals on October 26. Two injured players, Randy Yan’18 and Nate Goldfarb’17, both suffered from concussions.
With its first playoff berth in a decade on the line, the Columbus Academy football team took care of business against London. The Vikes blew out the Red Raiders 37-0 and punched their ticket to the Division 5 playoffs.
After its undefeated regular season, the field hockey team entered the postseason ranked “first” in the tournament bracket. When the Vikes faced the 17th seed, Lancaster, on Wednesday, October 19, our girls proved that they deserved that number 1 spot.
