This year, students are getting a behind-the-scenes look at the process of choosing a musical.

Mr. Pedro Mena, Columbus Academy’s Fine Arts Department Chair, is in his ninth year teaching art. Besides having lived in Ecuador, New York, London, and now Columbus, Mena has also worked in the music industry, from creating posters and album art to following independent music showcases.

“I’ve always known I was an artist,” Ms. Crystal Tursich said. As the new Upper School photography teacher, Ms. Tursich enjoys sharing her passion for photography with her students, especially when the excitement about the artwork is mutual.
