Girls Swimming Places 24th out of 53 at States

Wrestling Sends Two to Districts 

Wrestlers Tiko B., Parker K., Ryan L., Alex N., and Jim P. competed at sectionals on Saturday, February 25, at Heath. Along with Tiko B. and Parker K., Ceci R. will compete on Saturday, March 4 at Cadiz Harrison Central.  From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Vikings battled their opponents to make it to the next round.

Boys Swimming Takes Third Place at States

Columbus Academy boys swimming made history as they finished third in the state tournament at the C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, Friday, February 24. The boys tied the program’s best finish which was in 2018. Gavin L., Andrew H., Andy L., and William H. claimed a silver medal in the 400 free relay at 3:09.55.

Two Tournament Wins for Boys Basketball

League Loss Ends Girls Basketball Regular Season

Ethan k./Media On Wednesday, February 1, the Vikings faced Worthington Christian in their last home game. The Vikes took a 2-0 lead off two of Allison F.”s free throws, but Academy struggled against the Warriors press, falling behind 8-14. After a Vikings run followed, the score was17-22. The Warriors ended the half strong, leading 39-23.
