Boys Soccer Advances to Districts

On Wednesday, October 26, the Vikings battled the Granville Christian Academy Eagles at home in their District semifinal game. The Vikings entered the game blindly, having never faced the Eagles and earned an overwhelming 10-0 victory.

Field Hockey Qualifies for States

After defeating Lancaster, the Vikings took on Granville, who chose to play against our girls in the next round. Despite playing a more qualified opponent, the result was more of the same, with CA easily dispatching of the Blue Aces.

London Defeats Academy in Its Final Game

On Friday, October 30, the football team faced London during its last game of the season. London quickly took the lead and was ahead 14-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Vikings put up their first touchdown during the second quarter when Herman Moultrie’18 had a 3-yard run into the end zone.

Girls Soccer Tournament Update

The girls had their district semifinal match at Fairbanks on Tuesday, October 27. Fortunately, our Vikes put on a dominant performance. Controlling possession for most of the game, they took a total of 11 shots with five on target.

Cross Country Places 2nd and 4th at Districts

On Saturday, October 24, the girls team had an impressive 4th place finish, with a score of 86, behind competitors Northmore, Fredericktown, and Fairfield Christian. Audrey Grammel’17 led the team with a 2nd place finish and a time of 19:42.66.

Football: Bexley Defeats Vikings

On Friday, October 23, the Vikings faced Bexley in a much-anticipated game. The game got off to a shaky start with Bexley ahead by 10-0 at the end of the first quarter. When the second quarter stared, the Vikings were ready to put points on the scoreboard. Herman Moultrie’18 ran 32 yards to the end

Football’s Last Home Game Goes Out with a Bang

On Friday, October 16, all players and, particularly, the seniors Jacob Jeffers, Jack Mills, Sam Tuckerman, Matt Watters and Liam Wainaina hoped to end with a win, and that’s exactly what they did.  Academy quickly took the lead over Berne Union, scoring a touchdown rushed 6 yards by Herman Moultrie’18.
