Boys Track: April 14th Meet

The CA boys track team finished in first place against Worthington Christian, Bexley, and Tree of Life. Javan Iverson’15 won shot put. Jerome Buckner’18 won the 100 and 400. Logan Baker’16 won the 1600. The relay teams won the 4×800, 4×200, and the 4×400. The team ended up scoring a total of 73 points. Its

On Saturday, April 11th, the girls track & field team received third place in its second meet of the season at Amanda Clearcreek HS! The team faces Tree of Life, Bexley, and Worthington Christian at 4:30 on Tuesday, the 14th.

Boys Varsity Tennis

Last Friday, the Vikings won 5-0 against Granville. On Saturday, the boys came away with a 3-2 win against Wyoming, with notable performances  from Jacob Wareti’16 at first singles, Shrikar Kundur’15 and Austin Lawrence’17 in first doubles, and Eric Min’17 and Keegan Gibson’16 in second doubles.

This past Saturday the CA boys track team finished in first place at Amanda Clearcreek HS. The team was led by captains Tim Leathery’15, Javahn Iverson’15, and Logan Baker’16. For the field sports, Iverson finished 4th in discus and 2nd in shot put. Jack Mills’16 got 3rd place in long jump.

Missing two major contributors, Alivia Brown’15 and Alyssa Edwards’16, the girls lacrosse defeated Rocky River’s Ravens 7-2 with ease. Goal scorers were Julia Chester’16 (3), Makéla Hughes’16 (2), Grace Gieger’16, and Katie Boeckman’16.
