Girls Track

The girls track team had their last meet on Tuesday, April 21st, against Columbus School for Girls, Tree of Life, and Bishop Ready. They finished in 2nd place behind CSG with a total of 56 points.

Boys Track Places First Place

On Tuesday, April 21st, the placed first in track with 119 points, ahead of Tree of Life Christian and Bishop Ready. The 4×800 relay team ranked first and second place. The 4×400 also came in first. Conner Brown’18 got second place and Nicholas Watson’18 placed third in the 110 meter hurdles.

Girls Lacrosse Defeats Desales: CA 4th in the State

Juniors Julia Chester, Lottie Smith, Lily Rizk, and Makéla Hughes gave Academy an early lead of 7-3 in the first half of the game against Desales that seemed to be making a comeback with only two goals behind in the second half. But in the end, the Vikes maintained the lead with a 15-6 score,

Baseball Defeats Worthington Christian 6-5

After a long game on April 21st, the boys beat Worthington Christian in extra innings. The Vikes were down 5-1 in the 4th inning but battled back to tie the game 5-5 in the 6th.  When the game went into extra innings, Matt Watters’16 came in to pitch.
