On Tuesday, March 29, the boys tennis team started its season with a 5-0 win against Dublin Scioto. First singles, Jacob Wareti’16, and second singles, Austin Lawrence’17, both won their matches 6-1, 6-2. Hirsh Hede’16 won in 3rd singles with a score of 6-1, 6-0.

The first doubles team of Eric Min’17 and Michael Qi’17 and the second doubles team of Sid Menon’17 and Drew Haffer’19 both defeated their opponents in two sets, with scores of 6-4, 6-4 and 6-0, 6-1, respectively.

The boys hope to continue their strong performance this week.

They play Whitehall on Tuesday, April 5, West Jefferson on Thursday, April 7, and Massillon Jackson on Friday, April 8.
