The CA wrestling team traveled to Ridgedale to compete in the sectional tournament on Friday, February 28, and Saturday, February 29.

The two-day competition combined two previously separate tournaments (Ridgedale and Madison Plains), making it what Coach Bucky called a “meat grinder” of an event.

Sophomore Gyvnn Mendenhall placed first in his weight class, guaranteeing him a spot at the upcoming district tournament, while freshman Tiko Bdoyan placed fifth, making him an alternate.
