As students and faculty packed into the Dining Hall for Academy’s fifth annual Computer Science Fair on May 23, they observed the end results of computer science students’ weeks of hard work.
In between bites of Whit’s custard, students viewed projects ranging from an 80’s arcade throwback to virtual card games to futuristic drone simulators, as well as many different and enjoyable applications.
Sophomore Mark Carroll’20 said the exhibits “give you the ability to learn many new things that we might not usually cover in class.”
Classmate Ezra Johnson’20 said the exhibits are helpful because “seeing other students’ creations gives me more ideas for what I want to code in the future.”
As it has been every year, this fair was an enjoyable and eye-opening experience for both the computer science students and the rest of the student body.
