Elle V. represented the Diving Vikings at the Central Buckeye League (CBL) diving championship at Columbus School for Girls on Saturday, January 27. Beginning at 9:00 a.m., divers from each school involved in the CBL included Bexley, Bishop Ready, Buckeye Valley, CSG, Grandview Heights, Whitehall, and Worthington Christian. The number of divers from each school depended on their individual performance record over the year. Elle was the only Viking who exhibited her talents against the other seven schools’ competitors.

In just its third season of being an official Academy sports team, Elle won 1st place overall with a total score of 356.70 to capture the league title for the Diving Vikings.

Members of the diving team will travel to CSG for districts on Monday, February 12.
