Junior Elle V. was one of 31 female divers from 22 state schools who traveled to The Ohio State University for the Ned Reeb Invite on Friday, December 1 at 5 p.m. As only divers who competed last year and earned exceptional scores received personal invites to this meet, Elle represented the Aqua Vikes. 

Elle placed 13th with score of 293.1, after a 147.35 in  preliminaries and a 220.60 in the semifinals. Diving scores combine each judge’s score, so the higher the number, the better the performance. 

On Saturday, December 10, sophomore Aubree M. competed at the Columbus School for Girls meet at 11 a.m. against Bexley, CSG, Gahanna, Mount Vernon, Pickerington North, and Watkins. She placed 12th out of 19 with a score of 217.0. Aubree says, “I am so excited to get this season going. I have high hopes for the team this year!”

The team will travel to Kenyon College on Friday, December 15 for a 5 p.m. contest.
