Columbus Academy boys soccer celebrated Senior Night on Monday, October 2, against Wellington, honoring Gabe A., Ashton D., Noah H., Evan S., Tanner S., Drew S., and David W. before the team cruised to an emphatic 3-0 win against the Jaguars with goals from juniors Nick D., Harry L., and Dante R..

On Thursday, October 5, the team faced Bishop Hartley and fought cold and rainy weather while hammering the Hawks in a 6-1 rout. Brain A., Nick D., Harry L., David M., Ethan T., and Lucca Y. scored for the Vikings. 

On Saturday, October 7, the Vikings journeyed to Bloom Carrol and tied the Bulldogs 1-1. Both goals came from penalty kicks with neither side capitalizing on their chances outside the box. Jake S. converted his penalty from the spot, smashing the ball into the net.

After these results, the Boys from Hondros sit at 9-2-3 and 4-1-1 in conference play. Next week, the team plays its last two regular season games away against Buckeye Valley on October 11 at 5:30 p.m. and Licking Heights on October 14 at 11:30 a.m.
