Girls Soccer Shuts Out Whitehall

On Wednesday, September 13, the Academy girls soccer team won their first conference game on Whitehall’s turf 11-0, which marks their second shutout of the season.

Harper B-M. and Haidi S. scored three goals, having an unstoppable offense that will be hard to conquer for this week’s opponents. Lily L. scored one goal solo and another assisted by Izu N. Carolina M. scored and had one save as goalie. Alison C. and Harper C. scored, leaving the Rams with a 0-11 loss and raising the Vikes to 4-3 overall and 1-2 in the conference.

The Vikings play on Hondros Field all week, first against Cristo Rey on Monday, September 18 at 7:00 p.m. then the Bexley Lions on Wednesday, September 20 at 7:15 p.m., and ending the week against Franklin Heights on Saturday, September 23 at 11:00 a.m.
