The Columbus Academy boys soccer team traveled to face Worthington Christian on Wednesday, September 6. 

Under pale white clouds and a soft orange sunset, the team failed to bring home the win and tied 1-1. Junior Dante R. scored with a strong penalty kick, but the Warriors gained a goal with a header into the net. 

“The boys played well and started off the first half strong; however, we couldn’t put away our chances in the final third. We need to be stronger, said junior Hansheng X. 

The team stays home this week and faces Westland on Tuesday, September 12, and Whitehall on Wednesday, September 13.
