On Thursday, May 18, girls lacrosse advanced in the OHSAA State Tournament playoffs by beating Archbishop Alter 18-1 at home. Morgan H. kicked off the goal trend just as the game started. The Vikings were on a roll as they held a 10-0 lead at half-time with goals from Mia D, Carson K., Morgan H., Megan K., and Sophia S.

Moving along in the playoffs, the girls faced DeSales away on Saturday, May 20, losing to the Stallions 7-18. Goalie Hannah S. made various saves, but the team was down 3-10 at halftime with goals from Mia D. assisted by Megan K., Sophia S, and Shaia Y. Mia D. was first to score in the second half, and Morgan H. shot a goal from 8 meters away. Megan K. and Sophia S. brought the score up for the team but it wasn’t enough.

The Vikings concluded their season with a 10-9 record. Congratulations to a well-fought season.
