On Tuesday, May 9, the girls lacrosse team finished its regular season with a 7-8 record after playing CSG at home, falling close to the Unicorns 13-14. Mia D. and Claire R. put the Vikings on the scoreboard after CSG gained a 2 goal lead. The Vikes were in the lead with goals by Morgan H. and Mary P. but the Unicorns tied it up. The tie was 8-8 with five minutes left in the first half, with goals from Bebe S. and Carson K. and at halftime the score sat at 9-9.
In the second half, Morgan H., Megan K., Shaia Y., and Sophia S. scored more goals, raising the tie to 13-13. With only five minutes left, the Unicorns gained a one goal advantage to take the win.
The girls play Archbishop Alter at home on May 18.
