Girls lacrosse team played three home games last week.
Girls lacrosse faced Bishop on April 25, in its first of three home games last week, falling to the Eagles at 9-15.
On Friday, April 28, the team played against Rocky River but lost again, 16-17. The lead was back and forth at 12-12, but the Ravens picked up steam in the last 15 minutes.
On Saturday, April 29, the team defended Hathaway Brown on Carlin fields and avenged a 12-11 win. Academy was back 7-10 at halftime but made a turnaround in overtime with 11-11. Sophia S. assisted Morgan H. who scored the winning goal. A thrilling comeback to end a rough but well fought week.
The team is now 6-6 in the season and plays games at home again next week against DeSales on May 2 and Big Walnut on May 4, which is the team’s Senior Night celebration.
