Girls Track Gains Another Win

The girls track team traveled to Worthington Christian on Tuesday, April 18 to compete against Bexley, Bishop Hartley, Grove City, Madison Christian, and Worthington. Once again, the girls claimed a well-deserved first place victory, winning 11 of the 16 events. 

Mila B. sprinted to first place with a 28.6 in the 200m, and Clara S. powered through the 3200m run at 12:58.4. In the 4x400m relay, Zoya A., Sam F., Caitlynn H., and Olivia L. earned a time of 4:34.9, defeating Madison Christian’s relay team by 39 seconds. Tori R. won the shot put event with a 29’ 8.5, and Alisha A. improved their personal record at 14 feet.

Officials canceled the meet on Friday, April 21 at Whitehall.

The girls will battle at home against multiple opponents on Wednesday, April 26, before they travel to Fredericktown on Friday, April 28.
