The girls track and field team traveled to Big Walnut on Saturday, April 9 to compete in against Big Walnut, Centennial, Central Crossing, Columbus South, Delaware Hayes, Fairfield Christian, Franklin Heights, Gahanna, Grove City, Northland, Olentangy Liberty, Walnut Ridge, and Whitehall.

Alli K. earned 2nd in the high jump with a mark of 5’4, along with Olivia L. placing 10th at 4’6.

In the 4×400, lSydney F., Samantha F., Caitlynn H., and Ella L. finished 3rd.

For the distance medley-–in which each member runs a different distance–-Melanie Q. completed the final leg and earned 2nd place for the team. Coming six seconds short of Grove City in the 4×800, Samantha F., Olivia L., Melanie Q., and Clara S. also placed 3rd.

With a final 49 points, the girls placed 5th.

The team competes at home on Tuesday, April 11.
