From Wednesday, March 8 to Friday, March 10, the third graders stepped away from their regular classroom environment to the Jones and Mack gymnasiums for Academy’s annual ‘Wax Museum.” an event that promotes early public speaking and memorization skills.

Third graders select any famous persons they wish to portray and apply their research into a 2-3 minute speech by practicing for several weeks.

In art class, they paint posters representing their person and make room for a “PUSH” button to begin their speech for their families and other Academy students.
