Girls Soccer Dominates

Girls play at home on Hondros (Milana Biswas /Staff)

On Saturday, October 2, the varsity girls soccer team battled Morgan on Hondros Field. The Raiders were not ready for the heat that our girls were about to bring. Within the first two minutes of the game, senior Mary Kate Prall kicked a smooth goal into the net, the fastest she has ever scored.

The second half was a great score booster for the Vikes, thanks to sophomore Ella Lowrie. When Morgan was penalized, Lowrie had a free kick and scored a second goal with 20 minutes left in the half.

After Morgan was fouled again, Lowrie secured the third and final goal for the game.

The team is under the direction of Matt Thompson, Fiona Snoddy, Brian Stutzman, and Alissa Sommer.

The girls Grandview Heights on Wednesday, September 29 at 7:15 pm at home.
