Vaccine Clinic at Academy: One Step Closer to Defeating the Coronavirus

(Pixabay)

Nationwide Children’s Hospital hosted a vaccine clinic at Academy on Tuesday, April 20 for anyone above 16 years old (and with parental approval) to be vaccinated via an easy and smooth process.

Students met in the Trustees Room throughout the school day to get their shot and then waited in the Senior Quad for fifteen minutes to ensure no allergic reactions occurred. Students who already had their first dose were welcome to get their second shot at the clinic as long as they brought their vaccination card.

Academy will host the clinic again in three weeks.

With prom and graduation around the corner, it is beneficial for students to get vaccinated and prevent new mutations from developing. Our Academy community is taking pro-active steps to finish off the school year strong.
