Max Makes the Most of Avocado Toast

Avocado toast delivers a creamy texture and great taste when spread on toast. It is easy, healthy, tasty, trendy among millennials, and sure to impress your taste buds!

Ingredients:

Two halves of soft avocado

One-half of a lemon

Kosher salt

Crushed red pepper

Two ½ inch slices ofsourdough bread

Steps:

Toast the sourdough bread to a golden color (around 2-3 minutes)

As bread toasts, prepare  avocado spread

  • cut avocado inside into 3-by-3 squares

  • Press squares into a small bowl

  • Add lemon juice and salt, depending on taste

  • Mash with a fork until a creamy paste is revealed

Remove toast and spread the avocado over evenly

Top with a sprinkle of crushed red pepper for a slight kick
