Max’s Recipe of the Week: Taco Salad

(Max Walker’22/Staff)

This one is for the late nighters-a meal you can make in 5 minutes.

When a hot pocket doesn’t sound quite right, this can be your new go-to quick and easy meal: a beef taco salad.

It is healthy, tasty and has the perfect crunchy and creamy mix with lettuce and avocado. The ground beef takes a minute or two in the pan, and the salad is customizable to your taste and time limit.

Guacamole, salsa, and sour cream make great toppings. But for the panic studier, plain beef, lettuce, tomato and ranch will do the trick.

This meal, while simple, blends so many tastes together, with a little kick from the taco seasoning, and that super chill, smooth taste you get from the avocado ingredients.

This salad gets a 10 out 10 for its quick time to taste ratio and now has a place in my pocket of speedy, delicious meals.
