Early Saturday morning, the boys and girls cross country teams set out for their race at the Pickerington Central Tiger Invitational.

The boys  posted an impressive 3rd place finish as Nick Robie’18, Charlie Sabgir’20, Grayson Mick’17, Nick Watson’18, and Chris Heerman’18 were all top-30 finishers.

The girls saw similar success in their race, finishing 6th overall out of the 16 competing  teams. Annalise Grammel’20 led the team with an impressive 1st place finish for all divisions. Audrey Grammel’17 took 5th place, her 5th consecutive top-10 finish this season.

The cross country team is back in full swing despite the loss of five key athletes from last year. Their stellar performance so far is a potential indicator of their success at Districts in three weeks.

Both teams hope to follow up this commendable performance in London at the Erin Nance Invitational on Saturday, October 1.
