On Wednesday, May 11, the Vikes defeated the Wellington Jaguars, 5-0.

On Thursday, May 12, seven players competed in the Division II Sectional Tournament. Jacob Wareti’16 and Michael Qi’17 as well as the doubles teams: Hirsh Hede’16 and Austin Lawrence’17, and, Eric Min’17 and Sam Vogel’18, won their matches, allowing them to advance to sectional finals on Saturday, May 14.

Wareti and the Hede-Lawrence pair were the sectional champions, both earning 1st seed for the district tournament on Thursday, May 19. The Min-Vogel pair placed 3rd, and Qi placed 4th.

Our 3rd-ranked team will play 4th-ranked Bexley on Monday, May 16, with the winner proceeding to the OTCA Division II State Final Four.

On Tuesday, May 17, the boys will play archrival New Albany and hope a large student section comes out to support in this most anticipated match of the season.
