On Monday, April 25, at Amanda Clearcreek, the Vikes swept away Marietta, winning the match 5-0.

The winning streak continued on Tuesday, April 26, when the team defeated rival Bexley, with a 3-1 win.

On Thursday, April 28, the boys played a nail-biting match against Division I Olentangy Orange. Three courts fought through a third set and ended with the Vikes overcoming their opponents, with a final score of 3-2.

The team also had a 3-2 victory over St. John’s Jesuit on Friday, April 29, all three singles players skillfully winning their courts.

Senior Jacob Wareti had an undefeated week, winning all of his matches in only two sets.

The upcoming week promises to be exciting. Academy plays  four Division I teams, including New Albany on Monday, May 2.

On Tuesday, May 3, the Vikes face Dublin Coffman, followed by Worthington Kilbourne on Wednesday, May 4, and Walsh Jesuit on Friday, May 6.
