Many Columbus residents, even those who have lived in Central Ohio their whole lives, have never taken a tour of the the large and architecturally praised Ohio Statehouse in downtown Columbus.

 This December presents a perfect opportunity for anyone to check an Ohio Statehouse tour off their bucket list. From December 1-31 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Mondays through Saturdays, the Statehouse will offer tours of its Victorian decorated rooms, with ornaments that date back to 1861.

Additionally, from December 4-17 ( noon to 1 p.m.) the Statehouse will host free holiday choir performances in its museum gallery.

Both events are aimed to inspire the Central Ohio public to visit their Statehouse and appreciate the beautiful building as a great activity for friends and family to pass time this holiday season.
