Wrestling Update

The wrestling Vikes traveled to Orange High School in Cleveland on Saturday, February 18, to take on many teams at the Audrey Genovese Memorial Tournament. It was another tournament filled with ups and downs. Too many early losses for the Vikes made it difficult for them to bounce back when it came to bracket play.

It was senior night for the Vikings on Thursday, February 9, as they faced off in a quad meet against Cristo Rey, Northridge, and Grandview Heights. The night started off with the recognition of senior captains Jeremiah Mills and Anthony Sugar, both of whom are injured and could not compete at this last home match.

On Wednesday, February 1, the wrestling team was short handed because juniors Angus Soderberg and Josh Pearson had no opponents in their weight classes. Without a good showing, the team came away without any wins. On Saturday February 4, the boys travelled to London high school to take on several teams at the MSL Championship.
