On Friday, October 30, the football team faced London during its last game of the season. London quickly took the lead and was ahead 14-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Vikings put up their first touchdown during the second quarter when Herman Moultrie’18 had a 3-yard run into the end zone.
When the second half of the game began, the Vikes made a field goal, bringing them closer to their opponents on the scoreboard. London, however, had another touchdown to widen the gap again, staying ahead 21-10.
Well into the fourth quarter, the last quarter of the Vikings’ football season, London scored to solidify its lead 28-10. With a few minutes left, the Vikings added six points to the scoreboard, with Moultrie catching a pass from QB Matt Watters’16.
Unfortunately, this was the last touchdown of the game. The Vikings lost 28-16.
