On Tuesday, September 1, the girls tennis team had its third match of the season and swept the courts with a whopping 5-0 win. Georgia Tuckerman’18 won 1st singles with scores of 6-0 in both sets. Makela Hughes’16 won 2nd singles, also winning both sets 6-0. Sophomore Neena Baliga defeated her opponent with scores of 6-1 and 6-4 in 3rd singles.

The team of Jacinta Crestanello’17 and Sarah Wexner’17 won 1st doubles with scores of 6-1 and 6-1, while teammates Lexis Hughes’18 and Deeksha Bathini’17 won 2nd doubles with scores of 7-6 and 6-3.

The team hopes to continue this winning streak in its match against its rival, Grandview, on Tuesday, September 8.
