After defeating West Jefferson in a 5-1 win on Tuesday, May 19th, the team advanced to District Finals, looking to pass the point they lost at last year. But Marion Pleasant prevailed in 3- 4 defeat against the Vikes.
The 4th inning showed promise as the boys were up 3-0, but Pleasant tied it and took the one run lead. Academy couldn’t get that one run back.
It was a great season for all of the players, especially the team’s four seniors.
