On Tuesday, April 21st, the placed first in track with 119 points, ahead of Tree of Life Christian and Bishop Ready. The 4×800 relay team ranked first and second place. The 4×400 also came in first.
Conner Brown’18 got second place and Nicholas Watson’18 placed third in the 110 meter hurdles.
In the 100 meter dash, Otis Buckner’18 placed second, and Jack Mills’16 got third.
Atticus Lee’16 came in second and Andrew Heerman’16 was third in the 1600 meter run.
Tim Leathery’15 finished second in the 400 meter dash. Lee finished first and Nicholas Robie’18 finished second in the 800 meter run.
Michael Kusi’17 placed second, and Leathery placed third in the 200 meter dash.
Heerman placed second in the 3200 meter run. Robie finished third.
For the 300 meter hurdles, Watson placed second, Tommy Mampieri’17 placed second, and Brown finished fourth.
JaVahn Iverson’15 got first place in the high jump with a height of 5-01.00, ahead of Watson who got 4-10.00. Kusi won long jump with a final distance of 18-08.50. Iverson got second with a final distance of 18-07.00.
For discus, Iverson got first with a distance of 116-09.50. Jacob Taub’18 got third with 102-04.50. Iverson got first in discus with a distance of 116-09.50. Taub placed third with the distance of 102-04.50.
For shot put, Iverson got first with a final score of 46-11.00, and Jeremiah Mills’17 placed third with 32-10.50.
The team has had an amazing start to the season placing in the top three for the past five meets against competitors Worthington Christian, Bexley, Tree of LIfe, Bloom Carroll, Whitehall, and Saint Charles! Their next meet is at Bloom-Carroll on the 25th at 9:30am.
