Almost every day since fall sports ended, and even throughout summer and fall, the boys team has been working hard and preparing for its season. This year, captains Max Bechtel’15 and Scott Mackenzie’15 will lead the team. They’re excited to see where the season goes and think the team has potential. The boys played well during their first few scrimmages, and the outlook for the season is good.
Coach Warstler has been coaching the Vikings for three years now and is assisted by Coach Exline and Coach Ratliff. All are optimistic about the season.
This year, the team has four new additions: junior, Matt Watters, sophomore, Brett Bates, and freshmen Solomon Pierre-Louie and Herman Moultrie. The boys are preparing for their first game on December 5th at Patriot Academy and then they have their home opener on December 11th against Worthington Christian.
