Not only has the iPhone 6 been found to bend under pressure, but there has been an Intern prank, which attempts to convince users to put their iPhone in their microwaves.
Dubbed “Apple Wave,” the ad claims that with the iOS8 update, users can charge their phones by simply microwaving them. Not only is this a fire hazard, but doing so will ruin a user’s phone. Even small quantities of tin foil can cause a fire- the metal from a phone can make a substantial explosion.
Also, the new iPhones have been found to bend in user’s pockets since users want thinner and lighter phones. Lighter typically means less rigid metals, while thinner means that something will bend easier.
Rather than being surprised and outraged, we need to understand that even Apple can make mistakes.
