On Wednesday, February 4, the boys basketball team traveled to Bishop Ready for its first matchup of the week. The Vikings were looking to redeem themselves after losing to the Knights 47-62 earlier in the season. Academy rose to the occasion, outscoring Bishop Ready in every quarter to capture a 66-49 win. 

The Vikes were back in action the next day, hosting KIPP Columbus. Academy dominated, capturing a 74-50 win to extend its winning streak to 9. Jason S. was a key contributor to the team’s success as he dropped 30 points. 

On Saturday, February 7, the Vikings welcomed Whitehall Yearling for teh CA Senior Day. Prior to tip-off, Academy’s seven seniors ( Brian A., Will B., Gabe D-R., Dominic D., Jameson R. ,Charlie R., and Jason S.) were honored. The Vikes came out strong and led throughout the entirety of the game, thus earning a 61-33 win.

Looking ahead, the boys will travel to Franklin Heights on Tuesday, February 10, and host Bexley on Wednesday, February 11.
