On Friday, January 30, the boys basketball team travelled to Grandview Heights for its only matchup of the week. Both teams came out strong, going back and forth exchanging points, hungry for a win. The Bobcats led by two points going into halftime before the Vikings bounced back in the second half and captured the lead in the third quarter. They continued this intensity for the entirety of the game and took home a 59-44 win, snapping the Bobcats’ 9-game winning streak. Jason S. was a huge contributor to the team’s success, putting up an impressive stat line of  36 points, 6 steals, and 4 assists. 

Due to the snowstorm, the team’s matchups versus Kipp and Bexley were rescheduled to Thursday, February 5, and Wednesday, February 11, respectively.

The Vikings will also travel to Bishop Ready on Wednesday, February 4.
