Field Hockey Drops Final Regular Season Game

Field hockey concluded its regular season with 2-1 a loss to New Albany on Wednesday, October 8. Sophia S scored in the first quarter to take a 1-0 lead into halftime, but the Eagles made some halftime adjustments and proceeded to shut out the Vike in the second half while tallying two goals of their own, one in the third and one in the fourth. 

Academy finishes its regular season with a 11-5 record, as well as a 6-2 conference record which puts the Vikes in third place in the division.

They will face Lancaster at home on Thursday, October 23, to begin the postseason. The Vikes faced Lancaster on its Senior Night two weeks ago and won 8-1.

They also scrimmage Bexley on Monday, October 13, at 4:15.
