Girls Soccer Concludes Regular Season

Girls soccer celebrated its seniors on Monday, October 6, while sweeping Hamilton Township (8-0). From the first play, Academy’s offense attacked the Rangers from every corner, with Player of the Match, Harper B-M., charging toward the goal on three occasions, earning the Vikes three goals. Freshman Sydney S. also made a significant impact, dribbling across the field and finishing twice, making the score 5-0. Lexi F., ChiChi N., and Avery M. all scored, resulting in a triumph of 8-0.

Moving forward, the Vikes finished their season on a high-note, blowing out Whitehall-Yearling. Sophomore Harper C. says, “We came out strong from the start. Knowing this game would conclude our regular season was the motivation that guided us.” She scored one goal, along with Addison M. and Gia C. Lexi F. and Sydney S., however, carried the sweep for the Vikings, earning 4 and 3 goals respectively, resulting in a 10-0 win. Maryam S. was the Player of the Match, defending exceptionally by preventing the Rams from finding the net. 

Ending third in their conference with a record of 12-3-2, the girls look forward to taking on postseason with hopes of advancing towards states.
