The girls golf team started its postseason run in fashion last week as it captured a dominant victory at the sectional on Wednesday, September 24. The team shot an impressive 305 which gave it a 73 shot cushion over second place, Fairbanks. This victory puts the team one step closer to achieving their fourth state title in a row. 

Led by Nala C. led with a 72 which gave her medalist honors. Niya C. finished in second place overall with 75, and Eva L. finished third with 76. Claire Z. rounded out the top four scores with an 82, as she placed fifth overall. Meera S. finished with 86. 

The squad will return on Monday, September 29, at the Links at Echo Springs to compete in the district tournament.
