All Day 4 CA: Celebrating CA Spirit Through Giving

Since its launch in 2017, All Day 4 CA has become one of the most important traditions at Academy, as it brings together current students and families along with alumni from around the world. This year, our community raised over $700,000, showing how much the Academy community loves the school.

All Day 4 CA donations directly support the Annual Fund, a year-long campaign aimed at raising $1.8 million. While fundraising occurs throughout the year, All Day 4 CA serves as a major day of excitement with a clear deadline that unites the community in celebration and giving. Donors can choose which cause they want to contribute to, such as athletics, the arts, tuition assistance, faculty support, or curricular innovation. Most years, tuition assistance receives the largest support, as many donors recognize the value of an Academy education and want to ensure it remains accessible to all.

Another highlight of All Day 4 CA is the opportunity it gives to seniors to make their first-ever donation to the school. Since the beginning of All Day 4 CA, seniors have been invited to participate, and this year’s senior class set a record with the highest participation ever from a graduating class. It’s a proud moment for the school, showing that the spirit of giving back begins even before graduation.

Despite Columbus Academy being a relatively small community, with around 6,000 households total, over 1,000 Vikings came together to support the school this year. As director of development, Emily Campbell stated, “We’re small but mighty.”

Another reason for this campaign’s success is the matching gift challenges. This year, 32 donors provided matching gifts, encouraging even more people to donate by offering to match contributions up to a certain amount. These challenges help build momentum throughout the day and make every gift even more impactful.

All Day 4 CA isn’t just about raising money. It’s about celebrating the love the Viking community has for Columbus Academy and showing the incredible things we can accomplish when we all come together.
