On Thursday, April 17, girls track faced 7 other teams, including Africentric, Bexley, Hamilton Township, Teays Valley, Whitehall-Yearling, and Worthington Christian at Bexley in its annual relay meet. The Vikes placed 6th with 45.5 points. 

Some highlights from the meet were the Vikings 6th place finish in the 4×100 meter hurdle, and 4th place in the 4×200 meter, with a squad of Sydney A., Mila B., Morgan S., and Zephyr H. Additionally, the Vikes team of Miranda B-Y, Melanie Q., Clara S., and Claire C. earned second place in the 4×1600 meter, and Lizzie B., Miranda, Claire, and Clara placed 3rd in the 4×800. 

Besides relays, Lizzie earned 7th place in high jump, and Lindsey L. achieved 6th in discus. Finally, Isa E. earned 6th in shot put.

Their next meet is Friday, April 25 at Whitehall-Yearling.
